
San Antonio’s River Walk Ranked As One of the Most Beautiful Sights in the World
When you think of the most beautiful sights in the world, your mind probably takes you to places like Paris, Rome, Las Vegas, or New York. While those are awesome places, the San Antonio River Walk is definitely part of the conversation. In fact, a recent study puts the River Walk on the top 20 list of the most beautiful sights in the world. Keep reading to find out where San Antonio landed on the list.

The study was conducted by Kuoni, a tourism website in the UK. They analyzed over 452,000 Trip Advisor reviews by people who most often reviewed sights as beautiful.
We analyzed TripAdvisor data for sights in over 267 cities around the world. Using the ‘Things to Do’ section of the TripAdvisor website, the sights in each location that had the largest number of mentions of ‘beautiful’ in their review were ranked as the most beautiful sights for the specific location. Sure enough, places like Paris, Las Vegas, and Rome did make the list. But, Texas was not going to be denied as San Antonio's River Walk came in at number 16 on the list.

I would have to agree that San Antonio's River Walk is an amazing experience and has some beautiful sights. Heck, I've been too many times to count and love it. But, I'm a bit surprised that some other Texas locations like Big Bend National Park, the Botanical Gardens in Dallas, or even South Padre Island were not considered one of the most beautiful sights in the world.
One thing for sure is that writing this article now has me thinking about sipping margaritas at Rita's On The River now. Let's go!
