Remembering The Time Al Jones Was Remembering A Memory Of His

Al Jones was loved by many in the El Paso area and the places he traveled to. I am so thankful that I had the chance to work with him when I first started at Klaq.

I stayed after my shift hanging around talking to Al about different topics but mainly about radio. He told me many stories of him and Courtney Nelson and their adventures in radio together. He ALWAYS had a smile coming into work and absolutely loved the radio business. Al wouldn't come alone to work, he would occasionally bring along his son, Logan. His upbeat attitude lit up every room he walked into and you couldn't tell if he ever had a bad day. He will tell you about a challenge he got into with Buzz Adams many moons ago. May he rest in peace with our fellow rockers Scott Ronson and Rick Madrigal.
