Relaxing Winter Daytrips

Want a warm, wet weekend getaway? Keep these New Mexico hot springs in mind!

Many people are unaware of a number of natural hot springs and spas close to El Paso. They're easy to get to and most offer day passes if you don't have time to stay longer.

Riverbend Hot Springs, about an hours drive from El Paso in Truth or Consequences, has 5 common pools and several deluxe and private pools. Water temps range from 100 to 108 degrees.
Faywood Hot Springs. About an hour and a half away, between Silver City and Deming, has 13 mineral water soaking pools and two hot tubs. Temps range from 100 to 110 degrees. (They also offer "clothing optional" pools and areas!)
Gila Hot Springs Campground. About 3 hours away, near Silver City, this one has has three outdoor pools with varying temperatures.
Ten Thousand Waves. 4 - 5 hours away near the Santa Fe. This one is a full on, Japanese inspired, health spa with several communal and private tubs and spa suites.
