Foodies in Northeast EP Rejoice as Los Rancheritos Gives Update
UPDATE:
Los Rancheritos will be having their grand opening at their new location on Friday, June 3. Read on to find out where their new location is!
Last month, many El Paso foodies, and particularly those in Northeast El Paso, were sad to hear that local restaurant Los Rancheritos had caught fire.
Well, the fire destroyed their location, and many were wondering what was next for the Mexican restaurant, or if this was the end of our favorite hidden gem.
Well, it wasn't long after the fire that owners Ruby and Ernesto Quezada began to give us updates on the Rancheritos Facebook page, and although they were sad that their business went down in flames, they had some good news.
According to one of the owners, they were already planning a move, and they have recently been approved to reopen at their new location!
Moving to 9109 Dyer St. Suite V, Los Rancheritos have been giving live updates as they have begun the process of opening up their new location.
Their new location is located next to where the Albertson's on Dyer was, and it looks like this mom and pop shop will be up and running soon!
Most recently, they just passed their inspection and got approved to open soon!
Los Rancheritos was a fairly new establishment, and I had only gone to it just a few weeks ago for the first time. The food was delicious! I had the flautas and they were great! Unfortunately I didn't get a picture of them, but I also got the caldo de res and that was amazing, I didn't even mind that it was nearly 100 degrees outside!
This foodie, and I'm sure many foodies in El Paso, are eagerly awaiting for the opening of Los Rancheritos! To keep up to date with Rancheritos, and to find out when they open, you can follow them here.
