New posters have been seen in downtown El Paso promoting the 2020 Rage Against The Machine tour dates. But who put them up? Last week the music world was rocked when Rage Against The Machine announced southwest reunion dates in El Paso, Las Cruces, and Phoenix. The band will be finishing off those dates with a big welcome back at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. The Coachella date makes sense when you look back on the history of the festival. Rage Against The Machine has headlined the inaugural festival in 1999 and reunited to headline third day in 2007.  The dates people should really be focusing on are the Southwest dates.

The band will be kicking off these new shows right here in El Paso on March 26th. After that, the legendary band will play Las Cruces, NM on March 28th and Phoenix, AZ on March 30th. While the dates have now been announced and verified, venues have not. Many have been speculating where they believe the band will play but no definitive spot has been announced. Now, mysterious posters have started popping up in town and we want to know why.

On Tuesday, Facebook user Adam Marshall posted a picture of the posters with the caption, "Word on the street is..." Since then, the pictures have started swirling around social media with many asking who put up those posters. No one has come forward to claim responsibility and the band hasn't responded. The posters feature a woman standing with her face covered and wearing horns. On her dress is the border wall painted with a train heading to the border. A group of immigrants can be seen walking towards the border while there is smoke in the background. The poster displays the type of political message that Zach de la Rocha and Rage Against The Machine love to support and be vocal about. Only time will tell where and how the band will perform in the Sun City. If you'd like to go and see the posters for yourself, there are located near Paisano and Durango streets in downtown El Paso.
