Pickle Ice Cream: Sounds like a simple idea: combining pickle with an existing flavor of ice cream. But there are recipes for actual pickle flavored soft served ice cream: simply replace cucumber juice instead of milk & add pickle juice for a little kick. But there are other methods on making pickle ice cream out there:

You could also try a "Pickle Screams Dessert Shooter": which is essentially a cup on vanilla ice cream with a pickle dipped inside, something Veronica Gonzales was shocked at hearing for the first time.

Pickle Cake: Yes. You can make pickle cake. It's quite simple really: just throw in some chopped pickles while making your cake mix & you added a pickle taste to your cake. You can recipes for a pineapple pickle bundt cake or a pineapple upside down cake online so I'm curious to see what other cake flavors work with pickles.

Pickle Cupcakes: Staying on the subject of cake, how about cupcakes? Pickle cupcakes: just add pickles into the mix when making cupcakes & then you add a little tiny dill pickle coming out of the frosting for a nice touch.

Pickle Pie: Originally from Utah, pickle pie IS a thing. it's got the classic ingredients you can find in a pie: sugar, butter, milk, eggs, lemon extract, corn starch, cinnamon, nutmeg. But then you add the pickles & you can make it up together.

It became a sensation just recently so I think it's got some potential to have an El Paso twist (maybe have some chopped mazapan on the whipped cream or use horchata milk in the pie).

Pickle Donuts: Donuts are classic desserts so of course you knew there would be pickle donuts. They actually came originally from Springfield, MO but then Portland, Oregon would introduce their own version. Essentially they are a regular donut with vanilla icing, sprinkled with dried dill, pickle cheesecake filling & then pickle juice cubes in the middle of the donut.

Pickle Pops/Pickle Popsicles: Popsicles are great to have in the summer or really any time that the weather gets hot. So why not pickle popsicles? You can simply freeze pickle juice and stick a popsicle stick in the ice cube tray, or you can actually include the pickle IN the ice.

Kool Aid Pickles: Yes... Kool Aid pickles are a thing, or Koolickles as they're called in Mississippi. Once you've added the kool aid to your pickle jar, you let it sit for a few days in the fridge &... you got your koolickle.

Dipped Pickles: I'm not gonna lie... chocolate dipped pickles sounds good. I'd definitely try them if any of the chocolate shops in town make them: like Rocky Mountain Chocolate or Ixcaoco. Plus it sounds very easy to make: make some chocolate, get a pickle... and dip:

Pickle Cotton Candy: There's two ways you can enjoy pickle cotton candy: simply wrap cotton candy AROUND a pickle on a stick...

OR you can actually eat pickle cotton candy.

And this ain't the only pickle candy in this list; you can also try pickle candy canes or some of these other crazy pickle foods:

So you have a mad love for pickles & a sweet tooth, these are some pickle dessert ideas for you to try at home (and for you to add your own spin on them). If anyone makes any of these at the KLAQ Pickle Party, I might try just out of curiosity.
