Not So Clever Drunks Try To Outsmart Cops

Two New Jersy guys smashed into a guard rail after having a few drinks.So they poured water all over the road, let it freeze and told cops black ice caused the accident.  Who the hell carries enough water around with them to freeze an entire section of road? (Check out pics here!)

Creative, yes.  Ingenious even but nope, the boys didn't buy it and both men were charged with drunken driving.  Not sure why the non-driver was also charged but police say he wasn't wearing a shirt in a wind chill of -15.  That could be what called his sobriety into question.

Drinking and driving is never a good idea folks.  Before you head out for some Fat Tuesday fun tonight, arrange a designated driver!  If you find yourself having a few too many and don't have one, call a cab. Take a bus. Walk. Anything but driving, it's not worth the risk of hurting yourself or someone else.
