Netflix is being used in a scam to steal personal info from its members all over the world.

It goes like this, Netflix members get an email saying their information needs to be updated with a link. Clicking on that link takes you to what appears to be Netflix site and asks you to re-enter all your info. Name, address, credit card number, etc and, once you're done, it says the account has been updated.  It's a really good FAKE page though, it is NOT Netflix!

According to CBS4local.com, Netflix may send emails to customers regarding their accounts but, will never ask for account passwords, credit or debit card numbers or PIN numbers via email. The CBS report added that you can contact the real Netflix by sending an email to: https://help.netflix.com.

Netflix asks members “If you received a suspicious or phishing email, forward it to phishing@netflix.com and delete the email.” - CBS4Local
