Motorcyclist Taunts Cops With Tricks During Dangerous High Speed Chase [VIDEO]
Motorcyclist Phillip Resendez, 22, lead police on a high speed chase through two southern California counties. Reaching speeds of 100 mph and running multiple red lights, he even began to taunt police during the pursuit, by performing tricks on his bike, like standing on the seat.
At one point in the hour-long chase, Resendez stops to adjust his earphones and takes off again, almost hitting the door of a police vehicle. He was eventually stopped and booked for driving on the wrong side of the road and failure to yield, but that didn't stop him from still taunting cops while he was in handcuff.
NBC4 caught video of Resendez telling one of the cops, "Did he (police officer) seriously have to try and kick me off my bike?"
Witnesses said they were scared and thought the guy was crazy. I don't blame them, because as you can see in the video, he thinks he is invincible. The only time Resendez showed some emotion was when he apologized for putting his baby daughters in the middle of all the craziness.
Resendez is scheduled to appear in court Friday.
