Motorcycle Monday: X – Games Edition!! [VIDEO]

The X - Games are in the books and what a weekend!!

They started off in a cool .. I guess you could say .. fashion!  A big trick that went wrong for Travis Pastrana and cost him a couple of broken bones.  Catch the video here from youtube.  You can also watch Jackson Strong pull off a badass forward flip via youtube!!

Initially, everyone was worried Travis' broken bones were going to keep him out of the games totally, but you know him. NOTHING keeps that lunatic down.  His bike days may be suspended, but he still drove his rally car in those events!  His mechanics rigged the car to operate on hand controls!  Took a little getting used to, but he managed ... sorta.  Watch him kiss the wall and see other X Game highlights here from espn.com!

The enduro competition was a great mix of oohs, ahhs and ows!  The track was built the night before so, (on top of the fact that it's a damn difficult course to begin with) that means none of the riders were able to practice!!  I wish I could have been there!

Had I been there to race, I probably would have looked like this guy:

4 days of moto madness ... next year, I'm declaring X-Games weekend a long holiday weekend and going to see it live!!

The freestyle competitions are always my favorites and this year, they RAWKED!!

Let's hear it for the ladies as well!  The girls kicked ass this weekend! (and they're hot to!)  Ashley Fiolek had her bell rung (she was OUT for about 20 seconds. Reboot!!)  and didn't compete after that, but all in all they did well!  Watch the Kawasaki girls practicing for X Games and get to know them a little better at supercross.com
