I wrote an article recently about rock stars I have seen live that are no longer A-live. Based on listener comments, looks like I forgot a couple.

The article I posted, entitled Musicians I Saw Live In El Paso No One Will Ever See Again, had to do with dead rock stars in honor of the Day Of The Dead celebrations happening all over the place.

There are actually 2 Day Of The Dead "days", in case you didn't already know that. Yesterday, November 1, honors children who have passed on and November 2nd, is for the adults.

Anyway, I got to see a lot of great musicians perform before they passed on and I asked peeps to comment on those they had seen via the KLAQ Facebook page. A couple of those comments reminded me of these that I forgot on my initial list.

More Musicians I Saw Live In El Paso That Will Never Play Here Again

Over the years I've seen many musicians, many of whom are no longer with us.

Here are a few of the comments posted on the KLAQ Facebook page of rock stars others got to see before they died. ..

John has quite a list. I'm especially jealous of him getting to see Freddie Mercury and Stevie Ray Vaughan. Thanks to Jorge for reminding me about Charlie Watts.

The list of the rockers we've lost is lengthy and, hopefully, it won't get any longer any time soon. The artists mentioned here and in the other article are not the only ones we have lost, they're just the ones I myself have seen in person.

They're not really gone either ... we'll always have their music.

Things We Worried About Way Too Much as Kids

From quicksand to the Bermuda Triangle- these things were some of the problems we thought we'd encounter as adults!
