Metallica Mondays – 6/22/20: Live In Madrid, Spain

This week, Metallica crush it in Spain.

Metallica have been doing their Metallica Monday concert series for a few weeks now and this week, they take us with them to Madrid, Spain circa 2008. This show was prior to the release of Death Magnetic so, no material from that album or Hardwired To Self Destruct is featured. Here's what you do get though:

Last week, the show was filmed in Melbourne, Australia and featured ... among all the hits, pyro and killer effects ... some kickass guitar and bass solos.

Metalica began posting these concerts for free to help us all pass the time while being held hostage by the COVID 19 quarantine. Now that restrictions have begun to be lifted, they're keeping 'em coming to entertain their fans and also to continue generating money for various COVID 19 related causes via their All Within My Hands foundation.  This week, the emphasis is on addressing food insecurities and medical supply shortages during the current COVID-19 crisis.
