I love Florida. They, along with New Mexico, are a never ending source of amusement, weird news stories and Darwin Award winners.

Matthew Riggins and another man were casing homes in Barefoot Bay, Florida, when cops approached. So, they ran and hid. Deputies reported hearing someone yelling but, they couldn't locate the screamer. Later that day, Riggins was reported as missing.

Ten days later, Riggins' body was found and a gator hanging out nearby was questioned. By questioned, I mean killed and cut open -- which is how all Riggins' missing pieces were found. The Brevard County Sheriff's Department said:

"When the body was found, it had injuries that were consistent with an alligator attack." "We had trappers euthanize the gator and when we opened it up, there were some remains inside that were consistent with injuries found on the body."

Police in Florida are now on high alert for possible alligator rioting.
