While there are some restaurants in Texas that are animal friendly, you usually don't expect to see one while on a night out. That wasn't the case in Dallas, Texas this past month at the popular Mexican restaurant, Mexican Sugar.

One Texas man brought his horse for Mexican food & drinks.

As uploaded by lonestarmedia by Instagram, they showed a video of a man, Michael Duncan, & his black horse named Ranger just relaxing on the outside patio of Mexican Sugar. Ranger was even seen rocking a black cowboy hat to "add to the illusion" that he's old enough to drink.

The video has over 25k likes & reactions to people online were pretty hilarious; most of them saying that they wouldn't have minded joining them on their dinner date:

"I’m going to Dallas. This just confirmed it"

"I've never wanted to be a third wheel so badly!"

"Cowboy hat on the horse makes it that much better!"

This isn't the first time Michael & Ranger were seen around Texas

Their page "thebarhorses" shows that they go together quite a bit (by the way Michael's name is Sheriff when they go riding together in public). They've gone viral while visiting places like the 360 Brunch House Alliance & Koe Wetzel's Riot Room.

Sheriff & Ranger even have made stops at the Walmart by AT&T Stadium. Hey you have to get groceries right?

In case you're wondering, Mexican Sugar IS dog-friendly; perhaps after this they'll also make it "horse-friendly" too (there ARE places that are horse friendly in the Fort Worth area).

If Michael & Ranger wanted to get dinner or get drinks in Texas again, they might have some company the next time they go out but I'm sure they won't mind.
