A local recording studio is being forced to close following a robbery.

The Stu, on North Loop, was robbed this weekend of recording equipment, CD's, merchandise and a computer containing music files. Owner Rafael Barraza told KFOX TV:

"I kept merchandise right there." "CDs and other merchandise right there. I had a keyboard over here, and a drum machine where they could sit down and make their own music. Everything, they took everything."

"It hurts me, but it also hurts the community." "The people that were coming here and recording, and the music that was in the programs, and all that was in the computer that we lost is the most important thing that I'm trying to recover. Worse than anything, we have to close business and they have no music to show for what they paid for."

These d***heads didn't just steal stuff, they stole works of art and dreams. Barraza is offering a $500 reward to anyone who can help catch them so, if you have any info, please help! Crimestopers of El Paso can be reached at (915) )566-8477 (TIPS).
