Chicken wing lovers unite! Ascarate Park is going to be turning into a chicken wing wonderland on Saturday, June 17 for the Lord of the Wings Festival!

The wing festival will take place on Saturday, June 17 at Ascarate Park.

The event will see ten of the best local wing joints competing to see who really does have the best wings in all of El Paso. Only one can win the title of the Lord of the Wings- and the best thing about it is that you get to choose who wins by voting in their People's Choice competition!

Although there isn't a complete list of which wing joints will be competing for the Lord of the Wings title, there will be a Buffalo Wild Wings Blazing Wing Challenge.

Doors open at 12 PM and the event runs through 5 PM (or until supplies last); it doesn't seem like enough time but the wing competition begins as soon as the doors open.

The event will also feature live music, a kids zone area, local merchandise vendors, corn hole competitions, lucha libre and axe throwing. Additionally, there will be not one, but three full bars for guests 21 and over.

How Voting Will Work

All guests will recieve a ticket to cast their vote. Voting boxes will be placed with the competitors logos. Guests will then drop off a voting ticket into their favorite wing joints box. Votes will be counted and a winner will be crowned!
