El Pasoan Arturo Portillo created a short horror flick in hopes of winning a national contest sponsored by the feature length horror film, Annabelle: Creation.

The short movie, titled HEXIT STRATEGY, was created for the My Annabelle Creation contest, and could land Arturo a trip to Los Angeles to meet with studio bigwigs!  Arturo described his film this way:

The short movie is about a young man who wants to put a hex on someone who wronged him; of course we don't know who or what happened, and he goes to an occult and mystic emporium to get the "hexing" material. He is warned by the strange owner of the store and hands him instructions on how to do it correctly, but the young man ends up botching the whole ritual and he pays dearly for it in the end.

Best of luck Arturo!
