Local Business Gathering Items For Borderland Law Enforcement

A local business wants to show the Southwest's thin blue line some love.

Smoking Skullz Hookah Lounge, 3315 Dyer in the Northeast, posted a message asking for help with a pretty cool project.

There's been a lot of bad things in the media lately about law enforcement and we want to show them that we care we would like to put together packets over the weekend and deliver them on Monday to law enforcement branches across the city.

They'll accept any kind of help you can offer including water, snacks, instant coffee, coffee mugs, juices, etc and even thank you notes. After recent acts in Dallas, Baton Rouge and elsewhere, something as simple as a "you rock" note would mean a lot to officers.

This is not the time to be divided in our country. It is time that we rally together and offer something to someone who puts everything on the line for us. Please contact us with any kind of help you can offer, even your time.
