Listen To What Was Said About EPPD Officer Caught Flirting In Front Of Walmart
We are less than a month away from the second anniversary of the Cielo Vista Walmart mass shooting. 23 people ultimately died in the aftermath of a Dallas man driving across the state of Texas to come to El Paso to shoot people he knew nothing about because of the color of their skin.
The city was still coming to grips with the horror of that Saturday morning when the coronavirus pandemic hit, but when it was all said and done, Walmarts around the city began posting El Paso Police Department officers out in front of their stores for security, but one officer doesn't seem to be taking his job too seriously and the girl who caught him on camera had a lot to say about his behavior. You should probably not listen to this at work or without headphones on. The language is very graphic.
I have to agree with the person who filmed the officer flirting in front of the Walmart. I can't tell which Walmart the officer is in front of, but he is clearly distracted and not paying attention to anything but the two women in front of him. He has his foot up on the wall like he is at a club.
There is a time and a place for flirting, but in front of a Walmart in El Paso? Not the time or place, EPPD. You really need to talk to this officer. I'm pretty sure he is off-duty, but whether he is on the taxpayers dime or being paid by Walmart, his behavior is pretty shocking and very inappropriate. Grow up, officer. You are on the job. You want to flirt? Wait until you get off work.
