Texas born actor Jensen Ackles has really been a hot topic lately!

It's no wonder why; he's kind of a triple threat; he acts, he loves brewing beer, and he can sing!

I will admit that Jensen Ackles could be reading the dictionary aloud and I will most definitely pay attention. He's a good looking man, and after reading up on him, he's also a man with a giving heart.

Since wrapping up the beloved hit show "Supernatural" after 15 seasons, we saw the return of Ackles in the form of Soldier Boy in Amazon Prime Video's hit superhero drama "The Boys". Soldier Boy, who, according to the comics, fought in World War II and became the first super celebrity and a mainstay of American culture for decades. While I've only seen up to season seven of "Supernatural", I can agree that Ackles seems more than capable of taking on the role.

However, his impressive run on "Supernatural" and the announcement of his casting for "The Boys" isn't what really caught my attention. Ackles is actually very active in raising funds for various non-profit organizations along with his wife (insert sad face here) Daneel Ackles. They help raise funds for "Random Acts" which is actually "Supernatural" costar Misha Collins' non-profit, where spreading kindness is the main goal. They also help out several Texas based non-profits like "Creative Action", a nonprofit, arts-based youth development organization that provides creative learning programs for Central Texas youth; OutYouth, an organization providing a safe space for all sexual orientations and gender identities and The Birthday Party Project, an organization that throws birthday parties for children in homeless shelters.

I knew that I loved Jensen Ackles for  a reason, not only is this Dallas native a great actor, who will be missed as Dean Winchester, but he's got a heart as big as the size of Texas.
