Legendary Licon Dairy To Add Saloon With Local Brews And Bands

The iconic Licon Dairy will soon, finally, open its own saloon and grill!

The Licon Dairy has been a Borderland destination for decades. Generations have visited the dairy to see and pet the animals, buy fresh dairy products and more. Very soon, you'll be able to grab a cold one while you're there and/or catch live, local music!  The Outlaw Saloon and Grill, in the works for about 5 years now, is expected to be open by mid - June.

Angel Licon is behind the project and has done just about every bit of the work himself. He had hoped to have it up and running in time for his Grandfather to be able to see and enjoy it but, that was not to be. According to KTSM, Angel "will hang a photo in the Saloon to remind him of where he started and who inspired him to work hard for what he wants."

Visitors will be able to enjoy delicious burgers, local honey from Fabens, cheese from the Licon Dairy itself and locally brewed beers.
