Join All Of KLAQ This Friday For The Scott Ronson Benefit Concert Featuring Pop Evil

This Friday, the entire KLAQ staff and POP EVIL are getting together to raise funds to benefit DJ Scott Ronson, during his fight with lung cancer. 

This Friday, we are raising funds for Scott Ronson the best way we know how -- Pop Evil is coming into town to play a show to help Scott and rock El Paso! We haven't seen Pop Evil in town since their amazing show at Tricky Falls with Stonesour. That show was fantastic and many people commented on how great their performance was. If you missed it, now is your chance to see them perform and help out Ronson.

The show will be held this Friday, September 19th at the Socorro Entertainment Center. Doors open at 5:30 PM with music starting at 6 PM. Entry is a minimum donation of $5 to get in, but you are more than welcome to donate more if you would like. All profits will be donated to Scott to help with his medical expenses. T-shirts will also be available for purchase.

Local bands will open the show and Scott Ronson will make a brief appearance prior to Pop Evil's performance.
