If you've never heard the story of John Wesley Hardin, it's super interesting! I've had the honor of hearing the story while on a ghost tour with our friends over at Lost El Paso Paranormal while checking out his grave site at Concordia Cemetery! Hardin was an outlaw, gunfighter and self-taught attorney. A controversial character from El Paso’s days as the epicenter of the wild, wild West. Hardin met his demise on Aug. 19, 1895. Hardin often got into trouble with the law from an early age. He killed his first man at the age of 15, claiming he did so in self-defense. See, super interesting, right?
The story will be told by the Award-winning "Six Guns and Shady Ladies" wild west reenactors and will recreate the events that led up to the killing of Hardin. Immediately following the show will be a special Concordia Cemetery ghost tour.
Spooky season is right around the corner and this seems like such a great way to kick off the season and to learn about some awesome El Paso history! For more info click here.
