Commuting times across the state of Texas are all over the place. There are some employees here in the state of Texas that no longer have to commute to work as they now work remotely from their home. There are other people on the opposite side of the extreme, that commute multiple hours each day to go to work.

Most of us at some point in our life have had a longer commute than you would have wanted. I remember multiple years of going to college 50 minutes from where I lived, but my worst was between a 60–90-minute commute just depending on how bad traffic was that day. But back in those days I was doing everything possible to show the bosses that I wanted a full-time position.

The commute to work is going to be drastically different if you’re living in Dallas compared to living in a smaller town such as Fredericksburg. But what factors were used to come up with the worst commute times in Texas? They include looking at the number of people who drive alone compared to carpooling or using other means of transportation.
