The Beltway Park Church issued this statement about the incident:
This is a difficult letter for me to write, but it is important. At Beltway, we have always prioritized the safety and well-being of every member of this church. Today, I need to let you know about a serious matter involving a former volunteer and to provide clear information
about the steps we’ve taken to address this situation.
In June 2024, we were made aware that a former volunteer with our youth ministry confessed to soliciting inappropriate photos and videos of minors online.
Upon receiving this report, we immediately notified the proper authorities. We have and will continue to cooperate fully with the investigation. We learned today that this individual was arrested.
