It’s Presidents Day – Here’s Who Is And Isn’t Open

Today is the day we honor Presidents ... and, typically, save big bucks on mattresses.

You can also count on several agencies to jump on the opportunity to get a three day weekend out of the deal.  Here are some of the places that are and are not up and running today, according to KVIA.com:

• The following schools will NOT hold classes:
• - El Paso ISD
• - Gadsden ISD
• - Canutillo ISD
• - Fabens ISD
• - San Eli ISD
• - Clint ISD
• - Anthony ISD
• The following schools WILL hold classes:
• - Ysleta ISD
• - Socorro ISD
• - UTEP
• - EPCC
• All state and federal offices will be closed as well as the El Paso County Courthouse.
• City libraries, sports centers, aquatic centers, recreation centers, senior centers and day care centers will not be affected.
• Sun Metro's bus routes will not be affected.
• Banks and the post offices will be closed
