One band that has a deep & personal connection to El Paso is Escape the Fate. Not only have they given us some incredible shows in the past, but their drummer, Robert Ortiz, was born near El Paso on the Tiguan reservation. After a long wait, the band is FINALLY ready to come back to El Paso, and for Robert, it's a HUGE return home.

When is Escape the Fate coming to El Paso in 2024?

If you look at the band's official website, they only have a few tour dates for this year. But their very first one has El Paso, Texas listed: September 21st at Speaking Rock Entertainment Center with the doors opening at 6pm. This is further confirmed with this official Facebook event page.

As mentioned before, this is most likely going to be a HUGE return home for Robert, since this is where he was from. That homecoming love was definitely felt when they performed at Speaking Rock back on January 19th, 2010.

How many times as Escape the Fate played El Paso?

We've actually seen the band a total of 7 prior times dating all the way back to 2007. One of the most notable times was in 2017; this was extremely memorable for us because this was one of the final concerts ever held at Tricky Falls. We'll never forget you...

The last time we saw them at town was February 7 2020 at Speaking Rock. This was before the dreaded pandemic halted everything a month later...
