Halestorm, Corey Taylor, Rob Halford And More Salute Ronnie James Dio

Some of the biggest names in rock and metal have recorded a tribute to one of the biggest voices in rock and metal!

"This Is Your Life" features songs by Ronnie James Dio from every facet of his career, including the big ones from his Black Sabbath, Rainbow and solo years!  100% of proceeds from the disc go to the Ronnie James Dio Stand Up And Shout Cancer Fund.

Ronnie succumbed to stomach cancer in 2010.  Last night in Los Angeles, fans and friends of Ronnie got together for a listening party/concert that featured performances and appearances by Corey Taylor, Halestorm and Rob Halford among others.  The CD features contributions from those bands plus Motorhead, Adrenaline Mob, Metallica, and many, many more along with musicians who worked/toured with Ronnie.

The Stand Up And Shout Foundation has, in it's very short history, raised over half a million dollars which has been given to various cancer treatment and research centers. The CD drops April 1st, here's a peek at how it the show went down last night.
