As you probably heard, William Beaumont Army Medical Center was placed on security lock down last week. Here is why...

William Beaumont Army Medical Center (WBAMC) was locked down for around 3 hours last week after reports of a person with a rifle. It turns out that's not what happened though and the incident is now being a called a "non-event". I really do love government terminology, it makes me feel smart.

According to the El Paso Times, a color guard member returning some equipment, (Flags and flag poles, I assume.), was reported as having "rifle cases" and "cans of ammunition". During the incident, WBAMC officials tweeted the following instructions:

"Do not make any sudden or aggressive movements." "Follow all orders from the clearing team. Instructions are provided once building cleared."

FYI, running and screaming are not part of the protocol!
