Food trucks are super popular around here these days, now soldiers and staff at Fort Bliss can get in on the fun too.

Food trucks are a convenient way to grab a quick bite and they can set up just about anywhere. Now, the United States Army is making use of them on posts around the country to bring food to soldiers who are training away from the base or regular dining areas. Soldiers can eat wherever they want but, for various reasons, many cannot leave the post and others are training in the field with no access to restaurants.

So far, 6 trucks shave been designed and built with one heading for Fort Bliss. The others, according to the El Paso Herald Post, are being sent to Fort Drum, Fort Bragg, Fort Hood, Schofield Barracks and Fort Riley.
