The 90s may have been the last time kids woke up early Saturday mornings to watch their favorite cartoons. Check what cartoons have been named Texas and New Mexico's favorites!

The nineties were a great time for cartoons for kids. There were so many great toons to choose from that would take you on plenty of adventures every Saturday. Nostalgia is selling these days, with the reboot of some old shows like Full House and even cartoon Animaniacs, it made company wonder what were some of the favorite cartoons from back in the day. Internet and Cable company Frontier Communications released a study looking at what 90's cartoon is the favorite for each state.

For the Lone Star state, Recess was the most popular cartoon and it actually came out as the second most popular cartoon on the list. I remember a classic joke the Ashleys told on the show where they became grossed out that they may end up dating a guy named Paul or Joe. In reality, Paul Germain and Joe Ansolabehere were the creators of Recess, as well as Rugrats and Hey! Arnold. Those two men are the reason I spent many days stuck on my couch with my eyes glued to the television. In the Land of Enchantment, X-Men was the favorite cartoon. This was another favorite growing up and I've always been obsessed with Storm since seeing her on my tv. She was beautiful ad one of the strongest X-Men and I admired her so much. To this day, I still choose her as the superhero I'd want to be. You can check out the entire list of states and what cartoons were the favorite in each on the Frontier website.
