Fighting Temptation During Lent as a Catholic Week 4

Some Catholics participate in Lent and give up something they enjoy for a good amount of time. Lent lasts for 40 days and it may not seem like a long time but it is to those who partake in it. Years before I would try my best to give up something, do my time but always failed. One year I tried giving up cursing like a sailor and failed on day one of Lent. Another year I tried giving up social media and lasted for a week then caved.

That is why this year I am doing my hardest to accomplish this difficult mission of mine. I enjoy my coffee, juices, and teas in the morning and afternoons but now I can't. This time of the year has been testing my patience and temptation to succeed. So far I haven't had any nightmares like last week about cheating on my sacrifice. Although I do fantasize about chugging down a glass of pineapple juice or lemonade on Easter Sunday. Let me know how you're doing on week 4 in the poll down below.
