A memorial wall paying tribute to Texans killed in Iraq and Afghanistan is visiting El Paso this week.

The Texas Fallen Heroes Memorial Wall will be in El Paso May 26th and 27th. You can see it Sunday the 26th at the Lowe's on Rojas and George Dieter from 1-3 pm. Monday, it will be on display at St. Judes Chuch, 4006 Hidden Way, from 7:00 am till 9:30 and a Mass will be held at 8am. Then, the wall moves to VFW Post # 20354, 9170 Cananea, where it will be on display from 11am - 4pm.

According to the memorials Facebook page, it's mission is:

... to honor the memory of the men and women from Texas that paid the ultimate price for our freedoms in the current wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. It is our responsibility to make sure that people understand the terrible price that is paid by those people that volunteer to serve us in the military.

The organization behind the wall also awards scholarships!  To learn more about those and the wall itself, click here.
