A hack of Equifax has left the company owing a lot of people money ... are you one of them?

According to the Equifax website, those affected by this incident can be eligible for "at least 4 years of three-bureau credit monitoring, offered through Experian and up to 6 more years of free one-bureau credit monitoring through Equifax."  If you don't want to go that route, you can take a cash payment of $125. As much as $20K could be yours, if you're eligible, to pay for various other issues.

On top of the hack itself, Equifax came under more fire when it was revealed that they delayed announcing the hack while some bigwigs sold off their stock.
