EPPD Conducted Sex Offender Compliance Checks In March, EPPD SORT Team Stuns

I had no idea that the El Paso Police department we so good at actively keeping tabs on our town's population of sex offenders, but they truly are keeping them in check with the El Paso Police Departments, "SORT Team."
According to the EL PASO POLICE DEPARTMENT, "The department’s Sex Offender Registration Team (SORT) conducted home compliance checks at the homes of registered sex offenders.
Over the 2 day operation, SORT made 63 visits to registered sex offenders’ addresses. The home compliance checks revealed that many of the registered sex were non-compliant with registered sex offender requirements.
Just some of the requirements include keeping the police department updated on current residential address, place of employment, and any social media accounts. As a result of the compliance checks, SORT officers procured arrest warrants for those registered sex offenders found non-compliant, and those warrants will be listed in today’s Crime Stoppers Most Wanted. Compliance check operations will continue periodically.
