El Pasoans need to be extra aware of their surroundings each time they walk out of the Cielo Vista Mall, after a scary incident. About two weeks ago, the El Paso Police Department (EPPD) was called to investigate an alleged robbery involving a woman who was outside her friend's vehicle, when she left her purse on the roof of the vehicle. According to KTSM, a few moments later a man ran up to the vehicle and grabbed the purse, but the victim managed to catch up to the man and grabbed a part of the purse. They continued to battle over the purse as the man managed to get into his vehicle and took off, dragging the victim who was still holding on to the purse.

The suspect wasn't too worried about getting caught since he just had to stop by McDonald's, on 7110 Gateway East at Hawkins, for a quick meal. Thanks to his hunger, the McDonald's surveillance drive-thru cameras were able to film the suspect and help give the El Paso Police Department footage to share with the public. According to the EPPD reports, the suspect is described as 5'7" tall with a thin build, was wearing a light-colored hat with a blue baggy shit. The vehicle he used that day was described as a Lexus IS300 between model years 2001 to 2005.
