Serving the borderland for 14 years, the locally-owned consignment boutique The Label Exchange announced this week they were closing their brick-and-mortar location. The worldwide COVID-19 pandemic has crippled many economies and forced many small businesses to close their physical locations due to economic hardship.

According to an Instagram post, The Label Exchange has made the difficult decision to close its physical location here in El Paso. The consignment boutique's last day open will be this Saturday. In the post, they thanked their customers for their business over the past "14 wonderful years" and said they will take all the great memories with them.

For those who still wish to shop at The Label Exchange, the store will still have their website open and available to shop. You can also follow the store on Instagram.

It's sad to see another locally-owned business closing its doors during such a difficult time. We've seen so many businesses say goodbye and I'm hoping that we'll be able to see more stores opening their doors again sometime very soon. Until then, make sure you shop locally and support the businesses that are still operating in the city. Your purchase may seem small to you but could be the thing that keeps the lights on that month for them.
