If you're a frequent visitor and love hiking in Austin, Texas, then you may also know about the wish box. My friend Marisa was living in Austin at the time I experienced my first visit there.

My first hike in Austin was near the Pennybacker Bridge Overlook Trail that is a beautiful spot to catch a sunrise or sunset. It is actually where a wish box is chained to a tree.

But there is another hike located in Texas that you will want to experience for yourself. It all depends on the day and type of weather because it determines whether you will be surrounded or above the clouds.
