This weekend, a special charity benefit has been arranged which will feature the return of a great, local heavy metal band!

Something Wicked haven't played in a couple of years and it's been 5 years since the bands longest running lineup rocked us. Saturday (May 12th), that lineup reforms to help two young El Paso ladies who have lost both their parents.

The benefit show is Saturday at The Rockhouse Bar & Grill, 9828 Montana. In addition to Something Wicked, the lineup will also feature Foolish Illusion, Jiggy Monkey and Full Volume.

According to the Facebook event page for this show, all donations are welcome and 100 % of them will be given to the family of Byron T. Byrd.  In addition to cash, other items such as pet food, household necessities, personal items, etc, are needed.  At the event, you can also buy $10 Plates, $5 Byrd shots, enter raffles and more.

Byron was killed in a motorcycle accident last month, his wife Carrie passed away 2 years ago.
