El Pasoans Defend Beloved Pizza Places

El Paso loves pizza. I never knew that the Great Pizza Debate (as I like to call it) would continue on to this day!

To recap, a couple of months ago, I wrote an article after I found out that the highest rated pizza place in El Paso was Grimaldi's. Now, this is no shade to Grimaldi's, but I believe that El Paso has better local pizza places and I was astounded that none of the local pizza places were number one.

Well, after I had written that original article, I was prompted to write another article, mainly because some of my favorite local pizza places didn't make the list, and some of you also believed the list was garbage.

And now, today, I come to you with a new complaint: what is Buzz's problem with Peter Piper Pizza?! As I have mentioned before, Peter Piper is one of my favorite pizza places in El Paso, and in the original list, Peter Piper barely made the list at number 15.

Apparently, Peter Piper is very polarizing. You either like it or not- no in between. And after this debate came back up, Buzz declared that he didn't understand the hype with Peter Piper- and there were a few who agreed:

Agree with Buzz this time, PPP is garbage. The red baron frozen pizza is better than that, and it’s over priced!!

This was the awful comment we got on our App Chat. However, others disagreed:

How dare you Buzz! Peter Piper is amazing! Of course this is coming from someone who eats trash cake

The trash cake is a reference to the time Buzz ate cake out of the trash can (IT HAPPENED! I SAW IT!).
