I'm one of pizza's biggest fans. I have the "tight-belt" to prove it. So when I heard a new pizza place from Denver, CO was in town I just had to try it out.

COLORADO BEGINNINGS

T-Mamas Gourmet Pizza was originally started in Denver, Colorado. The real strengths of this pizza palace are fresh ingredients, quality dough, and a sustainable plant-based focus on food.

This is T-Momma's Gourmet Pizza's first location outside of Colorado and if you're interested in locating this delicious diner, you can find it in front of the Home Depot on the west side off of Mesa st near Remcon Rd.

A hidden gem, most definitely in the rough, is NOT street-facing. So it might take a little digging to find it. But once you do I guarantee you it's well worth it.

DELICIOUS PIZZA

The first thing I noticed after ordering my pizza driving home was the intense delicious smell that is emitted. I couldn't help but want to waft the savory aroma, and the temptation to sneak a bite while driving was intense. But I resisted the urge so I could get a good look at these artisan pies.

After I got home I opened up the pizza boxes and gave them a good inspection. The pickle pizza had a white cheese with thin slices of pickle intermixed and a golden crust. The Texas vegan pizza looked like it had chili and diced raw red onions on a slightly white crust.

I love pickles so the pickle pizza was an easy win. It's sliced so thinly that it doesn't overwhelm the sensation of eating pizza. But the flavor is still there for all you pickle fans. And I was pleasantly surprised by the vegan Texas pizza for its depth of flavor and its really confusing substitution of meat for some type of plant products. It was delicious and I definitely want to order it again.
