El Paso Zoo Celebrating May The 4th With Star Wars Event
May the 4th has become a day to celebrate all things nerdy and Star Wars and the El Paso Zoo is getting in on the fun! May the 4th has become the annual holiday that Star Wars fans use to celebrate their love for the science fiction fantasy franchise. Many dresses up as their favorite characters, attend events all over the world and gather with other Star Wars fans to share their love. So whether you're a Jedi in training, a stormtrooper or whatever else you want to be, head down to the El Paso zoo this May the 4th to hang out with all the cool animals and meet other Star Wars fanatics.
The El Paso Zoo's May the 4th celebration will have Darth Vader, stormtroopers, Jabba the Hut and more onsite for photos from 10 am to noon. There will also be tons of Star Wars games to play with prizes to win and the viewing of a Star Wars movie happening at the zoo. But don't worry, the animals will get in on the fun too when they get to destroy their own Death Star. Admission to the El Paso Zoo will be regular price and zoo memberships are valid for the event. Tickets are:
Baby under 24 months – free
Child (3yrs - 12yrs) - $7.50
Teen (13yrs – 17yrs) - $9.00
Adult (18yrs – 59 yrs) - $12.00
Senior (60+ yrs) - $9.00
Active Duty Military/Spouse - $9.00 (w/valid ID)
