El Paso Welcomes Back Monster Jam & I Resume A Tradition Of Mine

Every March, the Sun Bowl Stadium would be invaded by monsters... monster TRUCKS that is. They couldn't come this year in March but they ARE coming & I couldn't be happier.

This year Monster Jam is coming to El Paso October 9th (Saturday) & October 10th (Sunday). The pre-sale tickets went on sale this Tuesday & the tickets for the general public go on sale August 31st.

Ever since I was a little kid I've always been fascinated with monster trucks. I always loved going to the Pit Party on the Saturday event, going to get pictures with the trucks & getting autographs. My favorite? Who else then the legendary GRAVE DIGGER.

I remember going to my first show back in 1996 at the Sun Bowl. I was only 3 years old & had very limited memory of going to the show. But I do remember collecting the souvenir yearbooks & collecting plush toys of some of the monster trucks & getting the drivers to sign before & after the show. Since then, I've made it a family/personal tradition to go just about every year; it was the perfect time cause my birthday is March 1st & they would always show up the first Saturday & Sunday in March so it would be my own little birthday present to myself. Whenever I would go, it was ALWAYS a great time.
