Mayan-Themed El Paso Water Park Lost Kingdom to Open Ahead of Memorial Weekend
The city’s four themed water parks don’t open until the Memorial Day weekend, but if you've lived through even one summer here you know we're going to be needing some relief from the heat before then.
Well, good news: you won’t have to brave the hot El Paso sun until the end of the month.
Lost Kingdom to Open Ahead of Memorial Weekend
Lost Kingdom is set to offer El Pasoans of all ages a break from the heat one week early. With temperatures expected to remain in the mid to upper 90s, the timing couldn’t be more perfect.
It’s a Jungle In There
The Mayan-themed water playground is home to the Sun Temple and Moon Temple water slides, The Ruins climbing wall, and Macaw Lagoon in the Jaguar Jungle that features interactive water features.
Those looking to keep it more chill can coast along the Turtle Tides lazy river, or wade in the Forgotten Cenote leisure pool.
Preview Weekend Details
Lost Kingdom, located in the Bassett Place area at 6001 Hughey by the Ross Middle School baseball field, is throwing its gates open Saturday and Sunday, May 21-22, for a special preview weekend.
One-day tickets for the week-early debut will be $15 Saturday and $15 Sunday and can be purchased online in advance on the El Paso Water Parks website.
