El Paso Song Writing Contest Winners

Local musicians were asked to write a song about El Paso and here are the winners.I wrote a blog last year about a contest the city held to get local locos to write about the Sun City.  Pretty cool of me, huh??  Yeah...except I completely forgot to write about the winners. You may already know this since the winners were chosen last freakin' summer but, here they are anyway.

In all honesty, I wish the winners were a little/a lot more rockin' but, hey … as you all know … I am ALWAYS happy to acknowledge and support local talent!!

First place went to RC Manor who submitted Sun City Lovin'.

Second place went to Sebastion Garcia for Paper Border Cutout.

And third place was Love My City by Merk - Star.
