The Rhinos...who are kicking ass again this season...have a special event coming up next month to help children in crisis.

The El Paso Rhinos are holding their 11th annual "Teddy Bear Toss" during their first playoff game Friday, March 22nd.  Fans are asked to bring stuffed animals to the game and throw them onto the ice after the Rhinos score their first goal. The stuffed animals will then be collected and given to El Paso area children going through tough times.

After the game, there will also be a charity auction. According to the Teddy Bear Toss event page:

During Friday's game, there will be also be a game-worn teddy bear jersey auction. Fans can bid on the jerseys at the rink before the 10 minute mark of the third period. Auction winners will collect their jerseys immediately following the game.
