El Paso Motorcyclists Make Texas' Top 50 Fastest Speeding Tickets

This isn't a congratulations, more of a what the hell were you thinking?! Check out the crazy speeds here. El Paso is a city that has plenty of traffic during the day and even at night. With so many road closures happening overnight and into the early hours of the morning, there is a good chance you'll be stuck in bumper to bumper traffic at any time. But when you do find those rare moments that you're not surrounded by other frustrated drivers, some people find themselves stepping a little harder on the gas pedal to get to their destination sooner.

While many people don't have a problem going a few miles above the speed limit, we all have a limit. Or at least I assumed we all did until I found this article by The Drive. The website requested from the Texas Department of Public Safety any traffic citations given out for speeds above 120 mph. The website received back a whopping 228 tickets that fit the description. Even more shocking, was the fact that 2 of the top ten fastest speeding tickets in Texas were from El Paso. Another 2 speeding tickets in the top 50 were from El Paso as well.
