You can't go anywhere in El Paso right now without running into some form of construction. As frustrating as it can be, please slow down and watch out for the folks actually doing the work.

For example, Mondays accident on I-10 near Lomaland. El Paso Sheriff's Officials told the El Paso Times that the driver of an 18-wheeler was at fault.

Shortly before 5 a.m., construction crews on I-10 East near Lomaland Drive were picking up traffic control barriers with sheriff’s patrol vehicles blocking traffic when a tractor-trailer allegedly disregarded the emergency lights of the patrol cars and struck two sheriff’s vehicles and the construction crew vehicle."

5 people were injured in the accident, 1 seriously, and that stretch of I-10 was briefly closed. Watch out for the highway workers guys, their lives are pretty much in your hands!
