El Paso Downtown Streetfest 2017 — Meet Dokken

Dokken will be at this year's Streetfest on Saturday, June 24th, along with Jackyl and headliner, Alice Cooper. Here are some details about Dokken.

• Dokken was formed in 1979.
• The ended up split up 1989, but reformed four years later.
• They've had three charting singles with Alone Again, In My Dreams, and Burning Like a Flame.
• The band has had eleven studio albums. Most recently with 2012's Broken Bones
• The song Dream Warriors appeared in the movie A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors
• Don Dokken's full name is Donald Maynard Dokken.
• During the bands split, Don pursued a solo career and released the album Up from the Ashes.
• He released a second solo album almost 20 years later in 2008 with Solitary.
• Back in 2010, Don had surgery on his vocal chords to fix problems with nodes and tears.
