The COVID 19 pandemic has messed a lot of things. This event is still on though, it has just been moved.

Tomorrow they stay at home order will be lifted and some restrictions eased. Hopefully, these are the first steps towards a full-on reopening of things and an end to the pandemic which has screwed up pretty much everything as well as making so many ill. Many places have shut down and many events have been canceled but, the Dia De Los Ninos event presented by the city of El Paso is still on. Albeit, in a virtual form only.

To participate, all you have to do is log on to the El Paso Public Library Facebook page anytime today. (4/30/20) According to the El Paso Herald-Post:

Several City Departments will present fun online activities and programs to enjoy from home. The Public Library, Parks and Recreation, Museums and Cultural Affairs, Animals Services, and the El Paso Zoo will present a variety of virtual activities such as storytime for kids, musical performances, cooking demonstrations, tutorials, contests, and more. EPHP

Some of the presentations today will be live and some pre-recorded but, they should all be fun for the kids. Not to mention giving them something to do during the quarantine besides schoolwork or staring out the window.

Have them log on now!!
